Afan Dog Training Club Rules & Regulations:

The club wishes to thank Neath/Port Talbot Council for the hire of their wonderful hall.  It is a great venue for our club and in order to keep it, I must impress on all members Rules 1 & 2.

1.    Please use the fire exit at the side of the building to enter the hall with your dog/puppy.  Dogs are strictly not allowed in the main foyer or the kitchen area.

2.    Each training session is £3.  Discount may be given for two or more dogs.  In addition a membership fee of £3 is required from new members and is payable on their first week.

3.    The club promotes motivational training methods and will not tolerate harsh handling of any dogs/puppies during the training sessions.

4.    Please try to avoid your dog/puppy fouling inside the Hall.  However, accidents do occur, so please do not be embarrassed to say your dog/puppy has had an accident.  The club has cleaning equipment for inside the hall and Pooper Bags can be collected from the main table for accidents inside and out.

5.    Children are welcome to attend the classes, but we do ask parents to ensure that their child/children behave in a manner that does not distract the dogs or owners during the training sessions.  The club would also respectfully remind parents that their children’s safety and conduct is their responsibility and not that of the club’s.

6.    Members should understand that the club will not be held responsible for the entire or partial loss or detention or damage to dogs or any other property whether arising from accident or any other cause.  Nor will the club be held responsible for any injury sustained by members during the training sessions.
