August 2010:- This may have been a quieter month for the club, but it was a busy one for little Oscar. He has had a few wins this month, including Best Puppy In Breed, in his very first Open Show - Well Done Oscar!

July 2010:- A busy month for the club. We had our first Wedding! Lindsay & Paul meet at the Club and are now Mr & Mrs Crutchley. Sue & Judith judged at the Garnfach Dog Handler Training Centre’s show - It was a really nice day and great to see some of our members in the rosettes!    Congratulations also to Llew, who qualified for CRUFTS 2011 at the National Working and Pastoral Breeds Show at Malvern on 17 July, by winning his class at his very first championship show! |
May 2010 : - The Club was sorry that there was no training on 26 May, due to Judith’s judging commitments.The sale of tea/coffee raised £45 in the first 4 months of the year, for the Dogs Trust. A big "Thank You" to all who have donated biscuits, etc. |
March 2010 : - Afan Dog Club would like to congratulate Yvonne for her success at CRUFTS 2010:- 2nd in the Inter Regional Obedience Competition with Fleur & 1st in Graduate Bitch (Reserve Best Bitch in Breed) with Brye |
| January 2010:- The Club received a “Thank You” Letter from DogsTrust Bridgend in recognition of the donation of blankets, plus the £120 collected at our Halloween and Christmas Party. |
